一、The impact of different regions
The selection of color coated panels in different areas mainly considers the local snow load and corrosion environment.
Wind and snow load mainly considers the safety factor of buildings. Although this is related to the mechanical properties of color coated steel sheets, it is more related to the shape and thickness of profiled steel sheets and the connection between sheets and plates (the recommendation for steel sheet materials is described in the development trend). It is relatively difficult to quantitatively describe the corrosion environment in an area. There are many factors affecting the corrosion of color coated steel plate.
二、The impact of different industries
The use of color coated sheets in different industries is analyzed in two aspects:
One is the outer panel of color-coated steel plate. Normally, it can be selected according to different areas, but the influence of small environment should also be considered. That is, whether there is corrosive medium falling on the building envelope nearby, such as the gas discharged from the boiler, sulfur dioxide dust, etc., should be considered in the design of chimney height and local main wind direction. In addition, it is also possible that corrosive gases with high temperature and humidity may come out of the workshop and expose to cold air outdoors, thus condensation on the color coated panel. This phenomenon should be avoided, which will accelerate the generation of local corrosion.
The second is to consider the inner plate (double-layer composite steel plate) or the back paint (single-layer steel plate). Here is to illustrate that the roof interior plate is relatively easier to corrode than the wall interior plate. If workers can work in this environment, it is possible to use color coated steel plate. However, the quality of indoor environment or the investment of environmental protection devices will directly affect the service life of color coated steel plate. A few years ago, Baosteel had two end users in Guangxi, both producing electrolytic aluminium. However, the service life of the color coated steel sheet is far from the same. One color coated steel sheet has been worn out in one year since it was put into production, and the other one is still in use for more than six years now.
(1)Nonferrous Metal Smelter
Non-ferrous metal smelters (copper, zinc, aluminium, lead, etc.) are the most challenging to the service life of color coated steel sheets. However, reasonable selection of materials, design and environmental protection investment can ensure or improve the service life of color coated steel plate. Ten years of replacement or maintenance should be possible.
(2)Iron and steel works, power plants, etc.
Corrosive media can also be produced in iron and steel plants, power plants, etc., but color coated steel plates have long experience in use.
(3)Machinery Manufacturing Industry
Machinery manufacturing industry (automobile, steam turbine, machine tool, etc.) will not bring negative impact on color coating corrosion, but it should be noted that these industries may have heat treatment furnaces, boilers and other industries will also affect the local environment, poor treatment will bring color coating steel plate corrosion, especially in the processing damage or cutting edge.
(4)Warehousing logistics
This industry develops rapidly and uses light steel most frequently. It does not corrode the color coated steel sheet itself. Its choice of color coated steel sheet mainly considers the impact of the environment. Generally, such projects are concentrated in developed industries and busy traffic areas, that is, industrial environment and coastal areas.
(5)Public and Civil Buildings
Beauty and durability are the primary factors for color coated steel plate. Therefore, the anti-discoloration, anti-powdering and the integrity and delicacy of the coating surface are very important. Public and civil buildings are concerned about many people, and close, so the choice of coatings is usually PVDF or HDP, and the choice of light colors.
